The Afghan cricket team delegation presided over the head of the board executive director Nasimullah Danesh met the International Cricket Council (ICC) at the ICC headquarters in Dubai.
Afghan cricketers’ delegation informed the ICC in charges about the past years development and achievements of the sport in Afghanistan as swell as shed light the next plans.
He cited that cricket has its own fans in Afghanistan more than any other games while is fully supported by the government and the nation.
Head of the ICC, Richard confirmed the Afghan delegation reports saying it was his third meeting with the Afghan Officials in the past few years.
He called the last meeting very important as he received fruitful information about the cricket progress in Afghanistan, and added "cricket has vastly developed in Afghanistan, The ICC is wishing such development would continue"
He added cricket development in Afghanistan has attracted the world attention, promising that Afghans would soon receive good news from the ICC.
He asked the Afghans to fully support their cricket team and players.
The in charge of international relations of the Afghan cricket team, Noor Mohammad Morad and Bashir Stanakzai were also present in the meeting which was held in the Dubai Global Academy.
