So tomorrow is the first match of Afghan Cheetas in Faisal Bank T20. I am sure it will be really interesting game. Rawalpendi Rams are not that strong comparing them to Lahor or Karachi zebras, but their players have domestic experience of T20. Where our guys are also not bad and are full of talent.
What do you think...Can Afghan Cheetas make to the Semi-Finals of the tournament?

Btw Admin Saheb, can we share here live streaming links of the match if they are broadcasted?

I hope they go all the way, however, being realistic I would be happy if they just perform well without going totally down.

We know the quality of Hamid, Nabi and Sami, if it clicks for the three, we should have a good chance, Also all three had a very good Canada tour, they played superb...

Gulbadin knows the conditions very well, Abdullah is playing FC cricket for Peshwar, the other guys have done very well in Afghan domestic cricket.

I would hope they play a decent cricket rather than winning the matches as we have had some consistency issues recently.

Those guys are great but they should also be carefull not to get injurned. We have a much important match ahead of us. UAE in Intercontinental Cup.

I know Gulbuddin personally. I have played cricket with him on grounds of Phase2 in Peshawar. He was my school fellow and i can say from back then he was a very good player.

I think they will lose all their games. I just hope they put up some fight so they don't make fool of them selves.

I don't know the Pakistani domestic teams that well but these teams has been playing cricket consistently in different kind of domestic T20ies etc. Our team just consist of Hamid, Nabi and Sami. The rest are not that good. We saw what happened against Pakistan A. Therefor I am a bit pessimistic.

Well, I am afraid that they will lose the matches badly.. I want them to do their best, and atleast try to beat 1 of these teams. (I want them to win the whole cup, but our batting is weak, so u never know )
And I am really excited, I want to see Nabi do a real damage tomorrow inshallah!

I hope they don't play like they played against Pakistan A. Batting is our weakness, but we have our top 3 players, Hamid & Nabi & Sami, they should show that they are proffessional and I don't know about the rest of the players.. I hope they will do something also. Gulbudin,Karim,Sami,Nabi are our hope in the batting, I hope Najib Zadran and the rest can also help them with the score.. if we can give a decent total, I am sure Mazari & Hamid will handle the bowling attack, Sami & Nabi are also there! So bowling is nothing to be worried about.. Just wish Mirwais could participate instead of Karim Sadiq, we would have a brilliant allrounder then!

if things click for us, we're quite a good team, as you mentioned our bowling shouldn't be our headache. Batting-wise we're not bad either, Maulavi Abdullah can bat, even Hamid can hit from time to time. Gulbadin I think will have his final breakthrough in this tournament, he'll be a very useful all-rounder for a very long time...

Some of the new guys have done very well in our our domestic league, and it might be their only chance for coming closer to the national side

But to our bad luck we're in quite strong team, we're taking on the defending champions today, their team is strong. by looking at the score cards of others teams, I see many of the players we beat at the MA Shah Lephone Night Trophy...

Impossible is nothing.

The Rams have Sohail Tanveer, Umar Amin and Hamad Azam they have all played for Pakistan national team. They also have 3-4 players who have played for the A team.

I wonder if Rawalpendi Rams promot Sohail Tanvir up in the batting order. On his day he can really hit the ball.

What do you think...who should open the batting for Afghan Cheetas?

They played very well but unfortunatly RR's played better. Batting was way good. but our bowling line was a bit weak. Better luck next time. Atleast they didn't get themselves injurned

I was on work, saw just 15 mins. of it and I think they did pretty well. But I think they should have opened the bowling with Hamid/Gulbadin and that's also what they'll do for today's game...

Again today I don't expect a win from them as they are meeting a hell strong team, but good cricket from them won't make me unhappy

Yes they played really well. I think had they opened bowling with hamid or one fast and one spinner then they could have won it. But still they played really well. Those player from Pakistan play regular cricket...have got all the facilities and play more international level games then ours.

I still believe that they can win the next to games....they just need to study their opponents well.

Lost again today!

They only needed 46 with more then 50 ball remaining and and wickets in hand but they got nervous in the end. They only needed 1's and 2's but went for big shots and lost the game.

When I left for work, Gulbadin had won the match for us, but sadly the rest of the team wanted to save some of Misbah's honor by gifting him the victory,

It's so fustrating to lose this kind of game where you've been on the top almost 35 overs, they only needed singles at one point...

Don't worry guy's Faisalabad Wolves have some good bowlers. Saeed Ajmal is a world class spinner. Mohammad Talha is one of the best bowlers in the Pakistan domestic competion and has also played international cricket. it's encouraging that Goulbudin today and yesterday Najib played well. These guy's are gainig experience. it doesn't matter if they loose. It will be good if one of these players get a chance in the A side instead of Asghar.

Gulbodin has done a great job with bat. I didn't know he can be that good with bat too . I remember he used to be our attack bowler too and his batting was always last man or 2nd last man . but he has done a great job in last match.

He used to be a bodybuilder as well
He is quite good in T20 format, he also played good in the Canada Tour, I guess he has secured his spot after 3-4years. First I heard of him was in Division, he was then dropped until recently...

Yap. He was bodybuilder too. That he started after I left Pakistan.
Indeed he was part of our team till division 5 I guess. Then he was droped. I asked him, he said ya he will be back but after sometime. He was then in Asia Cup. Then after that I talked to him on FB, he said he is back and then Canada tour indeed did a good job. And now in this T20. Hope he joins the team for intercontinental against UAE. I am sure he can do a good job with ball there.

God I was impressed by Qasim Khan our Wicketkeeper! He has some skills, he was so athletic behind the wicket. Unfortunately he cannot bat, he works on his batting. One for the future. I would rather have him behind the stumps then Shehzad. Shehzad can play as batsman.

If he could bat, he could have replaced Shehzad, but came in as no.10
Beside Shehzad is one of the best if not the best at associate level, he just needs to lose some 5-kg weight
